The movements performed in Pilates are designed to bring awareness to the body and its alignment.  They help to develop strength and stability whilst increasing flexibility.  Pilates uses the breath to help stabilise, energise and calm the mind and body.  Pilates helps develop more efficient, coordinated and controlled movements and improved endurance.

Pilates will help you to gain natural grace in your movements, whilst calming and focusing the mind! Through regular practice, Pilates can enhance your ability to perform daily activities and your performance in sports.

Maximise your potential with Lynsey 

Lynsey is a qualified Pilates instructor with a Diploma in Pilates and has over 15 years experience. She also holds a BSc(Hons) in Occupational Therapy, specialising in Paediatrics.

Lynsey uses her knowledge in Pilates and her knowledge of how the body and sensory systems work to try and provide a more holistic class experience. By using her experience in normal movement and development, bilateral integration and coordination, rhythmic movement therapy, sensory integration and activity analysis, Lynsey strives to help clients become more aware of their body, posture and movements.
