Live Online Pilates

Join the live online Zoom classes from the comfort and safety of your own home. Be part of the online class with others, connecting in real time, with real people, signing up and being accountable to turn up for your given class at a given time! Have the opportunity to chat to the instructor and ask questions at the end of the class! Whilst it is not the face to face that we love, there are definitely benefits to online, for example in the dark cold nights and no commute time!

Our online zoom Pilates classes are 45 minutes long and provide a full body workout. The classes are suitable for all levels, modifications can be given to ensure challenge within your own limitations on any given day.

You can choose to Pay as you go or to book a block of class passes that can be used for the Mat Pilates classes and the Pilates Circuits class.

Pilates during pregnancy can help to maintain postural alignment and protect the spine as the body changes and the baby bump grows. Pilates also helps to keep an upright and open posture. This helps increase space internally for the organs, such as the lungs and digestive system, to work more efficiently as space reduces with the ever-growing baby. The movement, breathing and relaxation in the sessions will also have a positive impact on the development of the growing baby!

Frequent Questions

What do I need for my Pilates class?

All you need is a Pilates mat and enough space to lie on the mat and comfortably move your arms and legs! Unless it is stated as a specific focused class, such as ‘Bands Class’ then no equipment is required. It is recommended to bring some water to keep hydrated and a small towel to help assist with some exercises.

What should I wear to the classes?

You should wear something comfortable and non restrictive to allow movement. Mat Pilates classes are usually done in socks or bare feet. For the HIIT Pilates Circuits class you should wear trainers.

What if I can’t make the scheduled class times?

You can avail of a recorded PLAYBACK class to watch in your own time.

What if I can’t do an exercise?

Modifications of the exercises will be given to allow you to work at different levels. Please listen to your body and if a movement does not feel right then do not do it! You can stay online at the end of the class to chat and ask any questions or you can contact the instructor after the class via text, phone or email.

How often should I train?

A minimum of 1 class per week is essential, however, as with all skills and training the more you do it the better and quicker you will see and feel the results. It is also recommended that you take the principles learned from the class over into every day life, so they become more automatic and can positively enhance your daily living.

What if I miss a session due to illness or technical difficulties?

You can text or email to let us know you cant make the session and a recorded PLAYBACK of the class can be sent out to you to do in your own time?

Do I need to participate in a set of sessions in a sequence, or can I dop-in?

You can attend classes as and when you wish.

Can my partner, child, or dog join in, or do they need to pay separately?

The link should only be used to sign into one laptop/device. Whilst it is fine for other people such as partners/children etc to join in with you, the instructor holds no responsibility over their practice as they are not a paying Studio72 client.

Can I ask a question during the session, and is there a break?

There will be an opportunity at the start and the end of the class to ask the instructor questions. At the start of the class the instructor will place everyone on mute, so everyone should only be able to hear the instructor. If you need to ask questions in private, you can contact by text, phone or email to discuss.
