Pilates is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s. The movements performed in Pilates help to improve posture, alignment, muscle balance, strength, stability and flexibility, overall gaining increased control of your body and your movements. Through regular practice, Pilates will help you to gain natural grace in your movements that will have positive effects of the way you stand, the way you walk and in the way you perform all daily activities.
